I am seeking information on an ancestor by the name of Charles ANDERSON born around 1752 near Edinburgh, Scotland. He was the son of John ANDERSON who left Scotland for Southern Virginia between 1750 and 1760. John, and Charles ANDERSON lived near CHARLOTTE, VIRGINIA. John ANDERSON died around 1766 near CHARLOTTE, VIRGINIA and was supposed to have been a doctor. He had at least one other son named William ANDERSON and may have had a daughter Ann/Nancy ANDERSON ROBERTSON. I know that I dont have much to go on but any information would be greatly appreciated.
