Hello There, I am interested in researching several surnames with Scots connection. Reid from Logieriatt Perthshire - 3 Brothers Charles (and wife Charlotte Thyne Young od Edinburgh) Donald & Hugh with their Mother Margaret (Nee McGregor) widow of Donald Reid, wife of John Dalton migrated to New Zealand in 1848 - my husband direct descendant of Charles & Charlotte. My own Gt Grandmother Margaret Robertson ( unproven surname) of Peebles married Thomas Wright of Widnes England c 1860. Also would like to trace any information on James Julian Ballard and his wife Elizabeth Fair who lived in Glasgow in the 1920s - issue Stanley,Edith & Gladys.
