Looking for details of parents of Archibald Brown (said to be "Mariner") and Catherine McPhersonwho were married 23 December 1825 Pollockshaws (no certificate or record). They had 5 children Archibald b.1/7/1827 d.14/3/1984 - may well have been a ship's engineer, John b.5/7/1829 d.24/1/1888 - also an engineer, Thomas b.29/12/1831 - a silversmith, Jean (f)b.29/4/1834 and Lachlan b.16/8/1836 d.15/7/1905. All were born Glasgow. Lachlan died Brisbane, Australia. Thomas MAY have migrated to Canada.
