My grandfather, Alexander Miller, was born in Kilsyth on September 16, 1877. His sister Isabel was born in 1875. Their parents were Andrew Finley and Jean Miller. Jean died because of complications during my grandfather's birth. Andrew Finley came to the United States in 1884 and sent for his children in 1893. Andrew died in 1913.
