I am searching for information re. my ancestor Alexander McIntosh, born 1799 in Argylshire, Scotland. Married Margaret McFarlane, born 1802 of Perth, on 16 Nov.1821. He was a native of Perth and farmed in Argylshire, Scotland. Before emigrating to NZ in 1840 on the ship London, he drove stagecoach to Edinborough. He settled in Canterbury and established a farm in McIntosh Bay, Akaroa, NZ.They had seven children, one set of triplets. All grew up well and married. Any help gratefully received.
