Peter Evans from Adelaide Australia here..Searching for any info: on persons below:
James Mc Arthur b. 16th Jan.1865..Falkirk Stirling,died Forfar,Angus 1946. James married Clementina Cameron,(date & place unknown) died in childbirth,1889 at Maryfield Hospital,Dundee Scotland..(My mother in law thinks she would have been buried at the Eastern Cemetery,Fintree..we would like to confirm this (or deny it!!),and get details of a headstone inscription if there was one!)
James & Clementina had 5 children:Catherine,b, 1888, Auchterhouse, ?? Angus, died 25th January,1957, Dundee..
Isobell,(place & date of birth unknown),died Carnoustie,Dundee.Date Unk.(would have been buried as Isobel McLaren(married Peter McLaren..when?? & where???)
Margaret,place & date of birth unknown..(married James Tawmsley) buried at Arbrth...Date of burial unknown...
David , place & date of birth unknown, buried at Arbroth date of burial, and whether or not ever married..unknown)
Jean ( was apperently the oldest!!??) died Dundee, buried at Forfar,date of birth, burial, or marriage details (if she indeed married!~) ...unknown
James Mc Arthur: Parents..Peter McArthur & Elizabeth McDonald...have no detail on them whatsoever,BUT they are the ones we are primarily searching for!!
Clemntina Cameron (whom my wife gained her Christian name from!!)
have no details on her parents whatsoever!, But obviously we are interested in searching them out also!!
Any help, or advice re: all the above would be greatly appreciated!!
