John Watmough, former gamekeeper to Sir J Ramsden m 1808 Brotherton Yorks England Mary Atkinson. Appears to have farmed in Argyllshire and family returns to Yorks (?after his death?) in 1840's. Children bapt at Inverary, Argyll.... Isaac 1809, Grace 1810, Mary Hannah 1817, Thomas Miles 1819, John George William 1822, Israel Atkinson 1825, and George William Jeremiah 1833. Why did they go to Inverary? Gap in children's births 1810-1816? Isaac was a doctor thought to have qualified in Edinborough.
