i am trying to find any info or records of my great-grandfather's father. his name was william conn could have been born 1800's. his son,my great grandfather also born william conn was however born in kimberley south africa and married elizabeth popham. he worked as a prospector in a gold mine in johannesburg south africa where he also died. their roots somehow are irish/scotland.
