I am seeking info. about Andrew McDonald's family. He was born Jan. 17, 1832 and immigrated to the United States in 1854 through New York. He married Elizabeth Maughan and settled in Wisconsin, where they had children. Info. on the LDS IGI says his birthdate is Jan. 27, 1832 in Inverness and I don't know who submitted it. His tombstone said he was born in Glasgow but I don't know if that is right. I found an individual record for an Andrew McDonald, b. 17 Jan. 1831, parents Charles McDonald and Rebecca Miller in Markinch, Fif, Scot. Maybe the year is wrong?? Andrew and Elizabeth's first-born son is Charles. There could be a connection. I would appreciate any information you can give me. Thanks, Loretta
