Charles Madden married a Rose Eccles in Ireland. They had at least one son named James Madden born about 1838 in Ireland as well. James went to Scotland in about 1855 and on Feb 16, 1858 he married a Isabella McInnes also spelled McGinnis at Dalbeth cottage in scotland. They lived in Shettleston and other areas in Lanarkshire Scotland. They had about eight children, one of them named Charles who married a Mary Quinn. Charles was born on sept 19, 1860. One of thier children was named James Madden born in Baillieston. James married Elizabeth Muir. They had at least three children; James, John and Gracie. Gracie married an Albert Smart.
