WALKER, McQUAE
Seeking info on family - relatives of Samueal walker (born 28/6/1913 at Greenoch), his brother Edward James Douglas, sister (Janet?) and father (Captain John Walker, who went down with his ship in the Irish Sea during the First World War.After the war, a sub sank, landing on top of this ship - must be records somewhere of such an event? Also seeking McQuae history - an old family name is Muckway, which we believe may be a version of McQuae, McQuay, or even McKay. Our branch became Muckaway, then Mudgaway, then (in the 1840s) Mudgway. Please help!!
