Seeking information concerning Robert Munro, born in 1716, christened 3 January, 1717. He is suspected to be somehow related to the line of Sir Hector Munro of Novar. Roberts father is probably a Hector Munro who married a Marjory Brown 21 January, 1715 in Kiltearn, Ross & Cromarty. Robert later immigrated to New Jersey with his family. Robert probably resided in the Renfrewshire area as his children James, John, William were christened at Kilallen (Kilellen church). James was born in 1770-71 and left Scotland in 1787-88 Robert may have been in the military.
