Descendants of William Barr Gemmell Greenock circa 1839 - grandson Thomas left Greenock October 5 1839 on sailing ship "India" for Holdfast Bay South Australia. Thomas later settled at Strathalbyn in 1854, married Elizabeth Inglis in September 1848. We are visiting the Paisley area in August.
