I am trying to trace the scottish back in scotland from macduff,b,1784,Dumfreis and moffat,b,1788,Dufries.They had one son Francis,b,1808.Alexander Johnstone,b,1783,Dumfries married Jane Moffat,b,1787in Dumfries,in july 1807 in Leadhills.They had six children Leadhills/Crawford/ Kirkpatrik juxta area and in approx 1822 they emigrated to prince Edward Island.
