MURPHY - McCARVILLE/McCARVEL (Wishaw Hamilton Cambuslang)
I am researching my great grandparents Henry Murphy & Sarah McCarville. Henry I understand was born in Ireland and his parents were Edward & Martha. Sarah was born in Monaghan Ireland and her parents were Thomas & Sarah.
Henry's parents were in Carlisle at one point in 1834 when Henry's younger brother Taurence was born.
Henry and his brother Taurence came to Cambusnethan Lanark Scotland and married two sisters - Sarah & Elizabeth. Both families seemed to have lived in Wishaw & Hamilton until Henry & Sarah settled in Cambuslang. Their daughters married into the following families:- Ryan, Creechan, McGill, Dornans, Agnew, Holland, Paterson & Weir.
Any help with my research would be very much appreciated.
