FRASER, James husb. of Catherine MCLEAN, according to family lore, was murdered one night in Inverness, 1835. He was a parish schoolmaster. (I actually found a newspaper clipping about his death, but no mention of murder). His descendents moved on to Fife soon after. Any info. re tracing this back further would be appreciated! Note: my e-mail address has an "underscore" between cindy and holdsworth.
