COCHRAN(E) Thomas, birth date unknown, married Margaret(e) HARPER (b 1827).
The Cochran(e) family were in membership at the Presbyterian Church, Govan from which they received Disjunction Certificates on 19 May 1876 before leaving for Australia (attested by John Macleod, Minister, and Adam A Robertson, Session Clerk).
Their children, all born Govan: John (b 14 August 1851 d 12.4.1879 age 28), James (b 5 April 1853), Margaret(e) (b 9 December 1854), Thomas (b 7 June 1858 [in one record noted as Ayrshire]) occupation - Painter, married Emma Lloyd (b 18 April 1881 Victoria, Australia). The family came from Scotland abt 1865 when Thomas was 7 yo.
Any information anyone is able to send me re this family, particularly Cochran(e), would be very much appreciated.
