my grandmother Margaret Thompson, came from Motherwell,Scotland, I was told as a child her parents were missionary in Johanburg,South Africa, my grandmother came from Scotland to Boston around 1911 and married my grandfather Harold Crane from Halifax,Nova Scotia, my mother was born in Boston,on Jan 1912 my grandparents moved to Halifax.
I was looking at my mother birth certificate, My grannie name was Margaret C.Thompson my grandfather was born in Nova Scotia. Harold S.Crane and he was a "purserss" grandmother was born in Scotland,
