I am searching for information or descendants of my gggrandfather, Thomas MILLAR and his family. He was the son of Thomas MILLAR and Elizabeth HAMILTON and was born in Strathaven. He married Elizabeth TAYLOR in Avondale in
1833. Their children were Andrew b. 1834, Elizabeth (my ggrandmother) b.1836, Marion b.1839, James b.1842, Thomas b.1844 and another Thomas b.1847. Andrew and Elizabeth were born in Avondale, but think the rest of the children were born in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, as that is where they
lived most of their life and where the parents died. My gandmother, Marion MILLAR JONES was the daughter of Elizabeth. She came to the USA in 1907. The only
thing I know of this family is that Thomas died 4 Sept. 1884, Elizabeth Taylor Millar died 6 Dec. 1887 and the daughter Elizabeth died in October of 1909. I do not know what happened to the other children in the family.
Would like to find living relatives in Scotland, as I am planning a trip there in August. Here's hoping someone will connect to my family.
