BURNS' where are you? I am looking for Robert Burns' (alias Whyte)family. ?born 1841? He was sent to Western Australia as a convict arriving in 1862. He was sentenced on the 9th November 1860 at the Edinburgh Sherrifs Office. Scotsman paper recorded conviction 10th November 1860. He was caught at Marchfield House having taken silver plates and stealing a note book (18 pounds) while in the parish of Cramond. He named a son Thomas and the other William.
