Looking for passenger list from ship[Jessie or Kilmarnock or Alexander,et al]originating at Carse or Greenock, possibly Port Mary. My sketchy information is that they landed in ST. John but may have disembarked at Miramachi, NB in 1820 The Haining bunch had fourteen family members. James and Grizel Haining, their children, their spouses and others. One onfant died at the arrival after six weeks of travel. [who wouldn't with 42 straight days of nothing but oatmeal] Name of ship day of arrival. Be happy to share my findings of Haining,Shaw families. An old English law still permits the shooting by long bow of any Scotsman except on Sunday, and any Welshman any time except inside Cornwall. Be careful. Bruce J Haining Polecat,KY USA
