PLEASE HELP

Since the beg. of May I have been unable to travel more than a few miles due to an accident at work which injured my back. This has undoubtably hamperd my search for my ancestors. Is there anyone out there with the following amongst their tree?

JOHN CURRIE (MERCANTILE CLERK) m. MARY ANN BARKER 1855 Largs Ayr.

JOSEPH CURRIE b. 1875 Rutherglen rd. Glasgow. m. FRANCES ANDERSON 02-02-1900. 9 Hutcheson Sq. Glasgow

At the time of the wedding Frances was living at South Wellington St. Glasgow

Dtr MARY ANN CURRIE b. 1903 Waddell St. Glasgow m. WILLIAM HODGE MEIKLE (b.1901) 11-07-1924 116 Balgrayhill Glasgow.

FRANCES ANDERSONS farther OLIVER ANDERSON mother MARGARET STEWART (also know as BAILLIE,MC NULTY)

WILLIAM HODGE MEIKLE'S father ALEXANDER MEIKLE (d.14 march 1920) mother JANE DAVIDSON m.21-06-1892 34 Abbotsford Pl Gorbals Glasgow

JANE DAVIDSON'S parents JOHN DAVIDSON & JANE LITTLE (b. 12-01-1845) m. 04-04-1862 Earlshaugh tweedsmuir

In the 1861 Census JANE DAVIDSON'S father was listed as a lodger in the Tait household at Earlshaugh Tweedsmuir - Does anyone have any data which may be of some help?

In the 1881 Census the Meikle family are listed at MUTTONHOLE FARM HAMILTON LANARK can anyone tell me more about the farm?

The only other information I have on the CURRIE line that I am certain of is that JOSEPH & FRANCES also had a son ROBERT ANDERSON CURRIE (Sapper 2078790 100 field coy, Royal Engineers) who died 12 August 1944 age 24 - wife name ELIZABETH of Helensburgh,Dunbartonshire.

ANY CONNECTION TO THE ABOVE MENTIONED WOULD BE APPRECIATED
MANY THANKS
LINDA
