As I posted before, I am reaching William Henderson born c.1837 in Stranraer. I looked at the Registry for births 1836-1838 for William. None in Stranraer. There were many in areas I have never heard of or seen on a map. Dorcas McKay was his spouse. Her parents spelled their name McKie.
The Henderson family and Dorcas' parents appeared in the 1881 census in Culhorn. However, in the 1891 census no one was found. William McKie died in Culhorn in 1881 and I found Ann McKie on the 1891 census in Inch. I found her name by a search engine, but it did not show other memebers of the household where she was living. Would someone tell me how to find out who she was living with? I would appreciate it. Thanks.
