My wife's great Grandfather, David Thomson and Isabella Robertson were married in Johnstone, Renfrew on August 13, 1885. Their children were Anne Henderson Thomson, my wife's grandmother, born March 4, 1886 plus Sue, Christine, Bella and (possibly) Alexander.
All that my wife knows about Alexander is that her mother referred to him as Uncle Alex and she has a photo of him, supposedly taken early in World War 1. He appears to be about 20 years old and is in the uniform what seems to be the Cameron Highlanders.
We are looking for any information we can find on any of these three. Of course we ar not sure that he is a Thomson, he could be a Robertson or the husband of Sue or Christine about whom we have no information beyond the names.
