I was born in Glasgow, and have a brother and sister still living there (Norma Graham, and Alistair Campbell). Recently I decided to begin a family tree (Mother's side) and not having much luck (we are short on exact dates of important events). My Mother is Mary Carswell Campbell, Father, George Campbell (Married in approx. 1932). Grandparents were Mary (Mabel?) Carswell Watson, and John (Jock) Watson, who were originally from Dennistoun, four of their children were from there also (Mary, Alistair, Ian, Andrew). Ian married Margaret (Peggy) Quinn, they had three children (Ian, Ann, and Patricia, who died when very young. I remember aunt Peggy had several sisters (Bessie Quinn, Mary Cadberry (Sp?), and Jean Cook). My Grandfather's mother was from Glenlivet, I think, and my Grandma was a member of the Moray and Banff club (I vaguely remember her going to the annual ball, in Glasgow). Any tiny bit of information that could help me get started would be greatly appreciated, since I have spent hours researching, and still coming up short. My Mum's brother,Ian, had a butcher shop in Shettleston, before the family left for Canada, not long after the death of my cousin Patricia. Her other brother, Andrew, was a Chef in Guy's restaurant for a long time, and at the Rogano for a while. Uncle Alistair lived in Manchester (Stockport) with Uncle Ted and Aunt Edith Cosgrove. Thank you.
