I am trying to trace the parents of Alexander Syme who married Isabella Gardner on the 15/10/1848.According to the 1871 census he was 51 years old and she was 57 years old. Both were born in Bathgate,Linlithgowshire,Scotland.
I am also trying to trace the birth of the baby daughter of Isabella Gardner because according to the 1871 census she was shown as Agnes Syme age of 25 years old and that would put her birth around about 1846 but I cannot find any record of her birth.
