GRANT, Niel b 1814 Isle of Skye d Australia 1854 m Effie (Euphemia) SHAW in Strath, Skye 1835. Her parents were John Shaw who died before 1839 and Mary nee McArthur b 1790. She came to Australia in 1840, with her daugher Effie, Niel and 2 children. Another 7 were born in Australia. I have a good record of their descendants. Niel's mother was believed to be a Buchanan. One son JOHN b 1839 m Margaret WALLACE in Westwood, near Camden NSW, Australia in 1869. They had 9 children and at the time of his death lived in Hampton Court Road, Kogarah , Sydney, NSW. I have birth dates of the children but WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANY DETAILS ON THIS FAMILY.
