THOMAS ROWLAND MORGAN, my Grandfather, born out of wedlock, around 1900, in WATTSTOWN RHONDDA VALLEY, SOUTH WALES, died approx l948/l952. Married SARAH surname unknown, who died in
early l954. They had two children, RALPH in l925 and IDRIS JOHN MORGAN on December 16th l926. THOMAS ROWLAND MORGAN we believe to be ADOPTED, however before l945 there were no records to confirm this. THOMAS AND SARAH LIVED IN WATTSTOWN, RHONDDA VALLEY, MIDGLAMORGAN, SOUTH WALES, UK HE WAS A MINOR, DIED AT Porth Hospital. It is believed that
THOMAS ROWLAND MORGAN birth mother came from an upper class
family. We have a lot of continental looks running through the family which makes us believe there is continental influence, Roman noses and dark olive skin, maybe from his father. Perhaps he was in the forces serving in Wales approx l918. I would like to hear from anybody that would know if the forces served then, perhaps they have discovered there was a half brother or sister to a married man serving around that time, perhaps his father was married. From anyone who knows of records held from this time or anyone with links to THOMAS, ROWLAND or MORGAN. We are desperate to find our roots as if we are led to believe he was adopted we have a complete different surname which would would like to find out WHO WE REALLY ARE. Does any of this ring any bells.
