Can anyone help me in a search I am carrying out for a friend? I am looking for a Mary Mildred Smith that was in a place called Penlline Training Home until she was 18 (left in 1960). We cannot trace Mary and no matter how we try we cannot find out any information on Penlline Training Home, Cardiff. We know it existed in 1960 and believe it could be a place where deaf persons were sent to in that dyay. Contact has been made with Cardiff Social Services, County Hall and DART to no avail. Please, please can anyone help? If you do you will be helping reunite Mary with her family that have not heard from her in 40 years - we are desperate. Thank you in anticipation.
