I was born in Ruthin in North Wales on November 25 1951 and am seeking my birth mother and any other birth relatives. The name of my birth mother is DOROTHY GEORGINA SAMWAYS; I believe she was 23 at the time of my birth and a nurse, possibly in Ruthin. She named me ELIZABETH. I was handed over for adoption at about six weeks and my adoptive parents retained the name ELIZABETH for me. I believe my mother went to live in or near CWMFELINFACH in South Wales after my birth, as she had a sister there. I think she also married two or three years later to a WYN DAVIES, and had three children: IWAN, MALCOLM and RUTH. I know it's a longshot but if you have any information on any of these people, I'd really like to know. I now live in Australia and have two children of my own - and I would dearly like them to know, or at least know of, their birth family.
