Searching for info on HUGH H. JONES OF Llanfyllin, Montgomeryshire, Wales - married JANE WILLIAMS circa 1820's and were the parents of HUGH H. JONES dob 19Jan1826 in Welshpool or Llanfyllin area, DANIEL H. JONES dob 12Mar1837, THOMAS H. JONES and JOHN H. JONES. The whole family immigrated to the US in 1841 settling in Ithica, NY. Hugh H. Jones, Jr. was my great great uncle. I believe that his mother, JANE WILLIAMS JONES might have been related to my great great grandfather WILLIAM J. WILLIAMS born in Llanfihangel-yng-ngwynfa less than six miles from Llanfyllin. I would love to hear from anyone with family connections from the area of Welshpool, Llanfyllin, or Llanfihangel-yng-ngwynfa. I have made two trips to Wales and have had little to no luck finding out family information.
