Looking for any information regarding Hughes,Roberts,Jones families from North Wales. My grandfather was Thomas David Hughes, born in Anglesey,North Wales to Thomas & Ellen (Jones) Hughes...sometime around November,1881....his birth was registered in the first quarter of 1882. He lived in Bryngwran till he emmigrated to the United States in July, 1910 aboard a ship called the Arabic. His wife, my grandmother also came from North Wales....Her name was Laura Roberts.....and on the ships manifest it said she came from Portmadoc...or something of that spelling.... her age was 32 at the time she emmigrated.This makes her birth date sometime around 1878 or so.Her parents were William and Jane Roberts.....she came to the United States in 1910, in the month of October.
