My name is Michelle Cameron, I am desperately trying to trace my Grandfather David Forbes. He will be approx. 80yrs of age and came from Scotland. David was an engineer in the Merchant Navy. During the second world war he came to Huddersfield to help with war efforts at th British Dyes, there he met my grandmother (Doris Waddington). They had a relationship which resulted in the birth of a daughter (Doreen Waddington) my mum. If anyone can help me find my Grandfather I would be eternally grateful.
