My husband's seventieth birthday is tomorrow. Seven years ago he confirmed through the Recores Center -- Ara COeli=of the Catholic ArchdiaceseRecords Center tht his Gret-grandfather, Francis TOner was baptized in 1815 in the "parishof Armagh" along with brothers peter--who neverleft Ireland, either Armagh City or area around and brothers Hohn, Joseph, and Patrick who all eventually came to Omaha, Nebraska, USA

All are listed as childrenof Patrick and Ann Dowling (or Darling) Tonerbut there is no record of a Marriage certificate

Francis Toner, my husband's grandfather married Ann Hughes, who may have come from Monaghan --or qa piece of Monaghan later transferred to Armagh (1922?) The Catholic Archdiocese Racrds also sent baptismal records for three choldrenof Francis and Ann Hughes Toner who were baptized in the "Parish of Armagh" between 1856 and 1853 and for amother child, MaryAnn TOner who was baptized in 1855 in the "Parishof Tynan"

My husband speculaters that perhos Francis TOner's wife, Ann Hughes Toner went home to her mother to await thevirthof MaryAnn and had dthe baby baptized in the parish near her Mother. My husband also wonders if Francis and Ann Hughes Toner were also married inthe Catholic Church in TYnan.

I someone loves in the Armagh of "Tynan" area and has access to any kinds of records, please look for :our" RToners or if you love neara cemetery in Armagh City or Tynan that has recordsor markers going back to the nineteenth century would you please look out for Peter Toner or Patrick and Ann Dowling

There is no record of another child born to Hugh and Ann TOner about 1858-1861 -- Margaret

Joh and Joe TOner eft Ireland 1845-1854. Francis and his family and Francis' .wife, choldren and brother arived on America on the Cityof London in 1872

If you livein the areas I mentioned please look for evidence. We have relly hit a blind wall
