LAKE, RAYMOND FRANCIS,
born September 18, 1900 at 7 Charlton Terrace, Devizes Road, Fisherton Anger within U.D. Father - William Henry Lake, Irish Subject; Mother - Kathleen Mary Alice Hennessy of Hermoy, County Corke. Registered at Alderbury, Count Cork of Ireland. There may have been another son.
Raymond joined the navy during WW1, was discharged on June 7, 1922. Moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was on the Toronto Police Force. Then moved to Kingston, Ontario and was a guard at the Kingston Penitentuary. He married Ellen Marguerite Gamble from Deseronto, Ontario and they had one daughter, Sylvia Margaret.
Raymond joined the Canadian Army during WW2 and was killed May 29, 1943.
