LAMONT...MCKEE...CATHERWOOD
I am looking for info on my gg-grandfather, ANDREW LAMONT, who lived in Ballyholme, Bangor, Northern Ireland. d.1912
His wife was JANE CATHERWOOD MCKEE, 1829-1912, who we think was born in Ballymena. Year of marriage unknown.
Known children were:
Mary Agnes LAMONT 1854-1855, Anna Elizabeth LAMONT 1860-1861, Charlotte Parry LAMONT 1861-1883, William Andrew LAMONT 1863-1891 d.Auckland NZ, John Alexander Campbell LAMONT 1865-1894 d.Auckland NZ.
I.G.I microfiche files have a Robert Henry LAMONT b.Bangor 1867, son of "Andrew Lamont" and "Jane LINDSAY or MCKEE", so it is possible that this could be another child.
If anyone has any information on this family, or any LAMONTS from Bangor, N.I. please let me know as I would really like to find my Irish roots.
