I researching my great grandparents.They were Ellen O'Rourke,born around 1860 in Dunkeerin,County Leitrem,-and he was Thomas Dougherty,of Swynford,County Mayo,around 1856.They emigrated to England;to Newton le Willows and Bolton-both in the county of Lancs-and they had five daughters;Molly,Annie,Agnes,Bridget and Honora.Thomas died in the early 1900's and Ellen re-married a man called Harrington,and they had a daughter Kathleen. The only other information I have is that Ellen had a cousin,Fr John O'Rourke,who was at Meynrous(sp?)College.I would be more than grateful for any information.
