My g-Grandfather Robert McLaughlin left Ireland in"1850"with a brother name(unknown)to keep from getting his head shaved to become a alter boy.His first job was at a light house in Great Lakes Michigan,he was in the"American Civil War"1861-1865.He saw his broyher once during the war,they were on opposite sides.My g-Grandfather settled in Munford city,Talladega co;Alabama,and is burried there.Maybe this sounds familer to someone who may have g or gg-Uncles they are searching for.If anyone has any information please contact me.Thanks
