I am trying to make contact with descendants of siblings of my maternal grandfather, James Gerald Newbold GALLOWAY, who was born in Newry in 1892. James G N Galloway was the son of William GALLOWAY, a tailor, and Katie MAGEE (daughter of Alexander MAGEE and Catherine O'HARA). He is known to have had a brother called William, who went to work for his uncle James in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland by 1916. This William had a pub in Stenhousemuir Scotland after WWI. My grandfather came to NSW before 1916. He enlisted during WWI and visted relatives in Kirkcaldy. Contact with his family appears to have been lost about 1920.
