Hi,

My name is Gertjan Beijer (Dutch male) and I'm looking for my natural father.

I do not have so many clues, however...

My mother (who recently died) went to Palma de Mallorca for a holiday from the 12th of June 1965 until the 26th of June 1965. Over there she met an English guy and as a result ... on March 17, 1966 I was born.
The English guy's name was 'Tony', probably short for Anthony. He should be about 50-60 years old now. At that time, he had dark-blond, curly hair with blue-gray eyes and was about 6'2" (1.85 meter) tall.

He was there on a holiday in:

Hotel Jardines de Brasilia, Ca'n Pastilla, Mallorca, Spain

with two other friends. My mother sent a letter to the same hotel. They replied that they were not able to provide any details except that there had been three English youg men with the names of "Hagger", "Dixon" and "Baynes".

During my search efforts I have found out that in the whole of England only two persons were born with the name of "A.?. Hagger" (from Anthony) between 1940 and 1945. It took me some time but finally I was able to reach them by telephone and both claimed (and I believe them
) they have never been to Mallorca at all... Off course I could not verify this through facts or visual clues.

So I probably should be looking for a "A.?. Dixon" or "A.?. Baynes" now. I have consulted the Public Record Office and there are more than 150 possible persons to trace and then I still would not be sure I would have checked every possibility.

Does someone have a hint or clue for me, or might anyone now of three friends named Dixon, Baynes and Hagger who went to Mallorca during the summer of 1965?

If anyone should have some information which can help me in finding my
father I would be most grateful. Send reactions to
