HIGGINS - JOHN PATRICK Am looking for any records of trial or transportation records for John Patrick Higgins convicted in County Lietrim 1834 of 'turf stealing'. Transported to Australia. Arrived Western Australia 1853. Married Mary Ann Jane Walsh, born Ireland 1837, in Perth in 1859. She arrived from Northern Ireland (CountyLietrim?) in 1859. Would appreciate any help that will point me in the right direction. I am his GGD and have just finished History Paper on the town where he settled as pioneer. Thank you all. Lesley Lane.
