I am currently researching my fathers family from Rathkeale, Limerick and would appreciate any input anyone may have regarding this name or any associated names to help build a fuller picture. Associated names of spouses from this area of Ireland are Madigan, Kiely, Markham and Sullivan.
Associated areas with a Scanlan presence, we believe, are Ardagh, Cappagh, Coolcappagh and Stonehall. We are currently back to 1837 and stuck at present. We have quite a few gaps with family that possibly went to America or Australia. If you have any uaseful info please drop me a line.
