I am searching for information on Gurry's or Gurhy, Gurrhy.
I have gotton as far as my great great great grandparents. Their names are Edward and Catherine Brighaney Gurry. Edward and Catherine had four children, John, my great great grandfather, Anna, Margaret, and Honora. The time period involed, was 1790-1834. That covers the births of all involed. This family lived possibly in Co. Sligo, Ireland. John Gurry migrated to Canada in the late 1840's where he married Mary Killoran. They lived in East Seymour, Ontario, Canada and had twelve children. One of John and Mary's twelve children, is Edward Francis Gurry, my great grandfather. Edward was born in Campbellford, Ontario, Canada March 9, 1864. He married Catherine Roach and they had seven children. Their names are, Mabel, Theresa, Marjorie, Edward, Stewart, Ambrose and Catherine Laurine. Ambrose married Irene Kinney and they had three children, Leonard, Dorothy and LaRene. Leonard is my father. What I would like is information dating back past my great great great grandparents, Edward and Catherine Brighaney Gurry. I also, need information on Edward and Catherine's children. There is some descripancy in the family records connecting these children to them. Any information at all, on any Gurry will be greatly appreciated.
