I am looking for information on the parents of JOHN FERGUSON b. abt. 1782 VA, moving to SC at some point and Lincoln County, GA around 1828. where he died in 1863. He had 2 sons and a daughter that I know of Dr. Socrates G.N. FERGUSON m. FRANCES HAMON in 1884 in SC Socrates died in 1887 in Lincoln Co., GA. DEAVENPORT FERGUSON b. abt. 1809 in Lincoln Co., GA and died 1856 m. SARAH HENDLEY Nov. 26, 1845. JOHN's dau. ELIZABETH B. "BESSIE FERGUSON m. GAMWELL FLANAGAN Oct. 10, 1843 in Lincoln Co., GA. It is my beleive that he had more children in SC and I am unable to locate the name of John's wife. I would be very greatful for any asst.
