I am looking for cousins still living in Ireland. My grandfather, Michael Costello, was born May 04,1858 in Knockroe, Co. Mayo)to Michael and Sarah Gilligan Costello. Siblings: Thomas (1845), John (emigrated c. 1890 to US), Patrick James (b. 1849), Nora (b.1854 - emigrated c.1890), Martin (b.1856), Margaret Costello Feeney (b. 1856), Mary Costello Ryan (b. 1857), Katherine/Kate (no birth record.) Of the six who stayed in Ireland, there must be living descendants. Older siblings' birthplace is Galway, younger ones is Mayo. (Knockroe is right on the border.)One cousin, P.J. Costello, a magistrate, still lived with his sister at Knockroe in the 1930's. Both died childless shortly thereafter.
I visit Ireland every couple of years and would love to meet with and learn more about Gilligans and Costellos. Thanks.
