Ancestors, Henry and Anna Sneath, born 1812 and 1807, came
to US with son, James J. B. Sneath, born Dec. 25, 1837. They
said they were from Nottingham on various legal papers, but
the ship's passenger list lists them as "Irish". This is a
puzzling question. Can anyone help? They were Methodists.
