I am searching for my birth father. He served in Penang Malaya with the British 1945-46. I was born on the 13th of May, 1947 in Penang Malaya to Mabel Laing, (Girlie). My dad would be about 75 or 76 years old. Apparently he did know of my birth mothers prenancy, left Malaya when my mother was about 5 months. I have found my birth mother, so now I am hoping, I suppose against all hope to find my father.
