Hi my name is juliette and im working on my family tree. Iam doing research on The surname Hullighan and Loftus. Ive tried to ask my relatives, but they dont seem to want help.
My greatgrandfather was John William Hullighan he married Bridget Clarke in 1900's i think they were married in Ireland, ive tried to look up in england but there seems to be no evidence, they lived in Leeds WYR in the hunslet area
1905-1940, John William Hullighan was from Ireland but i dont know were. He died Jan 29 1948, but on his death certificate they had spelt his last name Hulligan. I think he may have had brothers and sisters.
My Loftus side, ive tried to order my greatgrandfathers marriage certificate i do believe he may also come from Ireland, He would have been married 1900 1904 He was John Loftus he married Catherine Walder. they had three children, THomas Loftus Aug 20 1906, he had a sister Catherine and a brother John.
