Still looking for a young mother who may have given a son for adoption, in April 1966 after spending time at the Besboro home in County Cork. The child was then adopted by a family from Northern Ireland, who may actually have been somewhat related to one of the birth parents. Little information is available, but the baptism was on the same day as the birth. Is this common for babies to be baptised the same day they are born,? and was it also common place for birth dates to be changed around that time?
If you know anything about the Besboro home or about the birth of a boy on or about april 25/26 in County cork, please reply to my email.
Liam now has a lovely family and would like them to know his birth parents.
