Searching for my aunt, Mary Carmel Donegan, mother of Mary Teresa Donegan born 1949 Sacred Heart Home Castlepollard. Last sighting London (Fulham, White Hart Inn) in mid 1970s....maybe running a picture framing business in the area.
I wish to apologise for the way she was treated by many of her family and try to make amends. I also have some things belonging to her mother which she may like to have.
Also searching for the burial place of the baby, my cousin Mary Teresa, who died of hydrocephalus & spina bifida at 6 weeks in Tullamore Hospital, in order to erect a fitting memorial.
Also trying to make contact with other Castlepollard mums and babies from Sept-Dec 1949 (and any other time) to provide mutual support and information.
This is the 22nd year of my search. One day we will meet. I wish happy reunions to all who search. Don't give up & never lose hope!
